Adding or editing SKUs outside of Sellbrite

Learn how to change your SKUs directly within each sales channel.

This article is helpful for merchants who are new to creating SKUs or who have inconsistent SKUs.

Individual: 

  • Start from your Active Listings page in eBay

  • Click into the listing that you need to edit

  • Click Revise Your Item

  • Edit the Custom Label (SKU) field

  • Select "Update Listings" located at the bottom of the page

Bulk: 

  • Start from your Active Listings page in eBay

  • Make sure you have the Custom Label (SKU) column visible

  • If it is NOT visible, go to Customize, then add Custom Label (SKU) 

  • Click in each cell to add your SKU

  • Once SKU has been added, select Save 

    

Individual: 

  • Start from your products page in Shopify

  • Locate the product that needs editing

  • Click on the product name to edit the product information

  • Under inventory, you should see a SKU field 

  • Add/Edit the SKU field 

  • Save your changes

Bulk: 

  • Start from your products page in Shopify

  • Select the export button, to export your products to a CSV file

  • Open the downloaded file

  • Add/Edit the SKU column

  • Save the changes

  • Import the file back into Shopify

  

Individual: 

  • Start from your Listings Page

  • Locate the product you need to edit

  • Click on the product name to edit the product information

  • Under Inventory and Pricing, you should see the SKU field

  • Add or Edit the SKU

  • To save changes, hit Publish

Bulk: 

  • Not Available

  

Individual: 

  • Start from your products page in BigCommerce

  • Locate the product that needs to be edited

  • Click on the product name to edit the product information

  • Under summary, you should see the Product code/SKU field

  • Add/Edit the Product code/SKU field

  • Save changes

Bulk: 

  • Start from your Products page in Shopify

  • Select the export button, to export your products to a CSV file

  • Open the downloaded file

  • Add/Edit the SKU column

  • Save the changes

  • Import the file back into Shopify

Individual: 

  • Start from your products page in Woocommerce

  • Locate the product that needs to be edited

  • Click on "Quick Edit" underneath the product name

  • Add/Edit the "SKU" field

  • To save changes, hit update

Bulk: 

  • Not Available
