How to Use FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) with Sellbrite

Learn how Sellbrite integrates with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).

Written by Elliot K

Sellbrite integrates directly with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), so you can put your FBA inventory to work across every channel you sell on. With this integration, you can list FBA products on other sales channels, sync your FBA stock levels everywhere, and fulfill orders from any channel using your FBA inventory.

How our FBA integration works

Once you enable your FBA account in Sellbrite, a few things will happen automatically:

  • Sellbrite will create a new Warehouse Location for your FBA inventory.

  • Your FBA inventory will begin importing into Sellbrite.

  • Your Amazon FBA orders will begin importing into Sellbrite.

If your product catalog already has products with the same SKUs as your FBA inventory, Sellbrite adds the FBA inventory to those existing products. If not, Sellbrite automatically creates new products for you.

Choosing warehouse locations for fulfillment

For each sales channel, you can choose which warehouse locations Sellbrite uses for fulfillment and inventory syncing. By default, all warehouse locations are enabled for every sales channel.

To change which warehouse locations are available for a specific channel:

  1. Go to the Channel Settings page for that channel.

  2. Find your Active Warehouse Locations, listed just below your Inventory Rules.

To disable a warehouse location for that channel, drag it into the disabled column.

Setting fulfillment priority

The order of your warehouse locations on the Channel Settings page determines fulfillment priority. When a new order comes in, Sellbrite fulfills it from the first warehouse in the list (starting from the top) that has enough inventory available for the items ordered.

To change this order, drag a warehouse location up or down to its new position.

If you want Sellbrite to fulfill orders with FBA whenever possible, drag your FBA warehouse to the top of the list. That way, Sellbrite uses it first whenever inventory is available.

How warehouse locations get assigned to orders

Based on your channel's fulfillment priority, Sellbrite automatically assigns a warehouse location to each item in an order.

For an order to go to FBA for fulfillment, it needs an FBA warehouse location assigned to that order item. Once assigned, Sellbrite reserves inventory from that warehouse and deducts it once the order ships.

To change the assigned warehouse for an order item:

  1. Select the currently assigned warehouse name.

  2. In the pop-up window, change the quantity ordered to a different warehouse location.
