Shopify now allows the assignment of your Online Store Inventory in different Locations. Shopify's Inventory Locations are exactly like Sellbrite's Warehouse Locations, allowing you to virtually store your inventory in different locations for fulfillment purposes.

If you're utilizing Locations in Shopify, your Shopify Locations must be mapped to your Sellbrite Warehouse Locations in order to:

  • Sync inventory from Sellbrite out to your specific Shopify Locations

  • Create Listings from Sellbrite to Shopify with inventory in different Shopify Locations

  • Build inventory in the correct Sellbrite Warehouse Location, when importing listings from Shopify into Sellbrite

  • Reserve inventory in the correct Sellbrite Warehouse Location, when importing orders from Shopify into Sellbrite

Mapping your Shopify Locations to Sellbrite Warehouse Locations simply allows your Shopify Store and Sellbrite to stay in sync with one another.

Mapping Shopify Locations to Sellbrite Warehouse Locations

Mapping your Shopify Locations to your Sellbrite Warehouse Locations is super simple!

In Sellbrite, go to your Shopify - Channel Settings page. At the top of the page, you'll see a status for Multi-Location Fulfillment. If that status is disabled, but you have Locations turned on in your Shopify store, click "Test Connection".

Once the Multi-Location Fulfillment status is "Enabled", scroll down to the Multi-Location Mapping section of the page.

You'll find a list of all Sellbrite Warehouse Locations you've created, each with a dropdown to select a corresponding Shopify Location. Select the corresponding Shopify Location you wish to map to each Sellbrite Warehouse Location from the dropdown.

If you've added new Shopify Locations to your store, you'll need to select "Refresh Locations" at the top of the Shopify Settings page so these new locations can be mapped in Sellbrite.

If you choose not to map a Sellbrite Warehouse Location to a Shopify Location, that Sellbrite Warehouse Location's inventory will not be used as available inventory for sale on your Shopify channel. Learn more about disabling warehouse locations on channel here.

Once your Shopify Locations are mapped to your Sellbrite Warehouse Locations, inventory can be imported from Shopify, Inventory Sync can be turned on and Shopify orders can be properly managed in Sellbrite.
