Sellbrite partners with Shipsurance to provide discounted shipping insurance on any shipment created within Sellbrite. The insurance is NOT provided by the carriers themselves (USPS, UPS, FedEx). When shipping insurance is purchased on Sellbrite, all claims must be filed with Shipsurance.
Purchase Discounted Shipping Insurance
To add discounted shipping insurance to the shipment you're creating in Sellbrite, simply enter the amount of additional coverage you would like to purchase on the Create Shipping Label window.
Discounted Insurance Rates
The insurance rates are calculated per $100 of insurance coverage, and vary by carrier.
DHL, FedEx, & UPS - Domestic & International shipments: $0.30 per $100.00 of declared value coverage, per package.
Access Worldwide, APC, IMEX, DHL Global Mail, OnTrac, Newgistics, FedEx Smart Post, First Mile, RR Donnelley & UPS SurePost – Domestic shipments: $0.40 per $100.00 of declared value coverage, per package.
Access Worldwide, APC, Asendia, IMEX, DHL Global Mail, OnTrac, Newgistics, FedEx Smart Post, First Mile, Globegistics, RR Donnelley & UPS SurePost – International shipments: $0.70 per $100.00 of declared value coverage, per package.
USPS - Domestic shipments: $0.40 per $100.00 of declared value coverage, per package.
USPS - International shipments: $0.70 per $100.00 of declared value coverage, per package.

FedEx & UPS and USPS (Non First class) $5,000.00 per package, $100,000.00 per conveyance.
Asendia, APC, IMEX, DHL Global Mail, OnTrac, Newgistics, FedEx Smart Post, First Mile, Globegistics, RR Donnelley & UPS SurePost & USPS (First Class) $1,000.00 per package, $100,000.00 per conveyance.
