Troubleshooting - Unable to upload CSV file to Seller Metrix

If any of your SKUs contain characters like # - " ' it can cause problems when uploading your CoGS to Seller Metrix

If you download the CSV template from Seller Metrix and any of your SKUs contain certain characters, you might be unable to upload it to Seller Metrix. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to solve it.

1. Open Excel and go to File -> Import. Select "CSV File" and click Import.

2. Choose Delimited and File Origin "UTF-8" as in the image below. Click Next.

3. Select only "Comma" as Delimiter. Click Next.

4. Select all columns and set Data Format to Text. If you are using a Mac, it can be difficult to select all columns. If you are experiencing this issue, go to System Preferences -> General. Under "Show scroll bars", select "Always". This will allow you to scroll horizontally and select all columns in the CSV import process in Excel.

5. Click "Finish" and you are done! You can go ahead and set your CoGS and upload it to Seller Metrix.
