How does Sellpy think about transportation?

We strive to minimize our impact from transportation with eco-friendly and collective shipping as well as efficient routes

Updated over 10 months ago

Sellpy's sustainable pre-loved items have to get to your house somehow. To make this process as environmentally friendly as possible and to remain true to our principles, we are constantly working on improving our logistics and delivery options to offer low impact alternatives.

Eco-friendly shipping alternatives

In our largest market Sweden, some of our logistics partners collect Sellpy bags and deliver orders using eco-friendly e-bikes and cars run on fossil free fuels. This is a great solution for Sweden and we will work with our partners to make this available in more markets. In the meantime, we opened a warehouse outside Sweden to better serve our continental markets. As a result, we can provide shorter, faster and more resource efficient transport routes.

Collective shipping & efficient transport routes

Reduced distances means a reduced carbon footprint. However, we not only ship using the shortest possible route, but also use collective shipping. That means we do our best to make sure all of your items arrive in one package, even if they are not stored in the same warehouse. This can result in a delayed shipping time, but we are doing the environment a huge favour - our pre-loved treasures will reach you with lower emissions.
