How do I make a return or complaint?

Sellpy offers a 30-day return policy and complaint rights – easily register through your Sellpy profile.

You have the right to return your order within 30 days of receiving it – as well as the right to file a complaint if something is wrong with the item or the listing. To make a return, the item must be in its original condition and still have its ID tags attached. Sellpy’s return label depends on your region, see detailed list below.

How do I register a return or complaint?

You register your return or complaint by logging in to your Sellpy profile and going to your order page. If this is your first purchase with Sellpy, you can activate your profile by following the order link in the confirmation email we sent you.

Steps to register a return/complaint

  1. Click on the order and the item you want to return

  2. Press "Return/Claim" next to the item you want to return.

  3. Select reason for retur/complaint

    1. In the case of a complaint, you should write a comment and attach a picture that clearly shows the defect in the item

  4. Click on "Submit"

  5. Repeat the steps to register multiple items as a return/complaint

Conditions for returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition and have all ID tags still attached. The return must be shipped within 30 days of delivery.

Conditions for complaints

The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage and wear and tear that have directly or indirectly occurred due to negligence, incorrect use, lack of maintenance, violence or unauthorized intervention. If you discover errors/deficiencies in an item, it is important that you inform us as soon as possible after you discover the error/deficiency that you want to complain about the item.

What happens after I file a complaint?

We review your complaint case, and you’ll usually get a response within approximately 2 business days. Please do not return a claimed item before we’ve reviewed your case. We’ll get back to you with a solution and let you know whether the item needs to be returned or not. If a return is needed, we’ll provide you with a prepaid return label — so you don’t have to create one yourself.

How do I send the returns?

Once you’ve registered the items you wish to return, you’ll see the available return options. You can choose to generate and use Sellpy’s return label, or you can arrange and pay for the return shipping yourself.

Using Sellpy’s return label

If you choose Sellpy’s return label, you’ll send the return using the shipping provider stated for your region below. The return label cost will be deducted from your refund. With Sellpys return label, your return parcel is both trackable and insured all the way to our warehouse.

Book return shipping yourself

You can choose to send your return with your own shipping method and pay for the return cost yourself. Please note that we are not able to pick up packages from agents and that it is your responsibility to have the package delivered to Sellpy's warehouse. See which address to use in your return view. It may differ depending on how big and heavy your package is.

Can I return multiple items using the same return label?

Yes, you can include both returned and claimed items from the same order in one package.

However, items from different orders must be returned separately. Use the return label linked to each order and attach it to the corresponding package. This ensures that all your returned items are trackable during shipping and helps prevent any issues with refund processing at our warehouse.

When and how will I be refunded?

Returned items are refunded within 14 days from the date the return package is delivered to our warehouse. Once you receive confirmation that we’ve initiated your refund, it typically takes 1–5 days for the money to reach you, depending on the payment method.

The refund will be issued to the same payment method used at checkout. If you paid partly with Sellpy Credits, the refund will first be made to your selected payment method, and any remaining amount will be refunded in Sellpy Credits.
