How do I send in my Sellpy bag?

You send the packed Sellpy bag to us via either home pick-up or a post office, depending on where you live.

We currently offer home pick-ups of Sellpy bags in large parts of Sweden, Finland, Denmark & the Netherlands. If you live outside our pick-up area, send in the Sellpy bags via a post office. You’ll be notified once the bag has reached our warehouse and is registered on your profile.

How do I send my Sellpy bag via a pick-up?

Home pick-ups of Sellpy bags are available in larger parts of Sweden, Denmark & the Netherlands. Our pick-up partner in your area is stated on our website when completing the booking.

How do I book a pick-up?

Book a pick-up by following the respectable links to your local website:

After you have completed the booking for pick-up, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Sellpy, as well as a separate notification from our pick-up partner.

Via the notification from our pick-up partner, you can change the selected date or time. If you want to send in more bags of what you have specified when booking, you need to make a new booking.

How does the pick-up work?

At the time of pick-up, you will receive updates from our pick-up partners until they have arrived at your place. You don’t have to be at home during the time of pick-up, but can simply leave the bag outside of your door. When the pick-up is completed, you’ll receive a notification.

Note that the bag and its content is at your responsibility until it’s picked up.

What should I do if my pick-up fails?

Sometimes things don’t go as planned and your booked pick-up fails. It could be because something unexpected happened to our pick-up partner on their way to you - or that you left home without putting the bags out.

Either way - don’t worry! You can easily re-book your pick-up for a new date via the notification from our pick-up partner.

How do I send my Sellpy bag via a post office?

To send in the bag via a postal office, simply use the printed shipping label or digital QR-code (QR-codes only available in Sweden and Germany) you have received by email when ordering the Sellpy bags.

Our shipping partner differ depending on which country you live in:

  • Postnord (Sweden, Finland, Denmark)

  • DHL (Germany)

  • La Poste (France)

  • PostNL (Netherlands)

  • bpost (Belgium)

  • Österreichische Post (Austria)

Make sure to keep the receipt from the postal office!

What are the next steps after I’ve sent my Sellpy bag?

As soon as your bag is picked up or dropped off at the postal office , our partners will make sure that the bag is delivered safely to Sellpy. Good to know is that depending on where you live, the shipping process can take up to 2-3 weeks.

Once the bag has arrived at our warehouse, we’ll register the bag on your profile and send you an update by email. The bag is then stored in our warehouse until it’s time for your bags to be assorted and put up for sale.

When will my sale start?

You can always track the waiting time on your sales page in order to stay updated on how long it’s left until the sale starts. The stated waiting time for your sale starts is an estimate of when we believe we will assort your bags. It means that the estimate can change depending on how many bags that lay before you in the queuing system, and also on how many bags we are manage to handle each day. The estimate is updated on a daily basis and it might look like it stands still, which it in fact does not do.
