Selma does not store your money directly. Instead your money is stored at a licensed Swiss bank, Saxo Bank (Schweiz) AG. Selma uses the secure interfaces made available by Saxo to manage your money.
Selma employs high level physical security (ISO 27001, FISMA). Critical facilities have extensive setback and military grade perimeter control berms as well as other natural boundary protection.
Your data is always encrypted in-flight. The Selma web service is only available over SSL encrypted HTTPS connections and all internal database connections are SSL encrypted to ensure a high level of security and privacy.
