Only an account that is held in your name can be registered as a reference account. To add a new reference account, all you have to do is to transfer a small amount to your investment account from the desired bank account.

Withdrawals can only be made to a verified bank account held in your name and which is registered as a reference account. Any bank account you have used to make a deposit will automatically be registered as a reference account.

What to do?

To add a new bank account as a reference account, all you have to do is to make a small symbolic deposit (e.g. CHF 5.-) from your new bank account to your Selma investment account.

Once the deposit has arrived on your Selma investment account, your external account will usually be saved a reference account and available for a payout within one banking day. If the account is not available after 2 banking days, which can happen in rare cases, please contact our support team.

It is possible to store several bank accounts as reference accounts. But don’t forget, you must be listed as the account owner for all bank accounts.
