Do I need to inform Selma of a name change?
Several events in a lifetime can lead to a change of legal name. Whatever your reason for changing your name, you must inform Selma and so that we can update your account with your new name. 🖋️
For security reasons, we must ensure that the name under which your Selma account is registered corresponds to the name that appears on your external bank accounts as well – otherwise, you may encounter difficulties making deposits or withdrawals.
How do I update my official name on my Selma account?
Send us an email at support@selma.com with:
a brief description of your situation
a copy of the administrative document proving your name change (e.g. a marriage or divorce certificate)
a copy of your new identity document (passport or ID card).
Once you have sent us your request and these documents, we will be able to register your name change in our system. 🤓
