If you are leaving Switzerland for good, it's up to you whether to leave your 3a account open or to withdraw your money and close it.

I want to keep my pillar 3a account

You are free to leave your 3a account open, but you won't be able to make any more payments to it as long as you live abroad.

You can always decide to withdraw your money and close your account at a later date while you are living abroad.

Please note that we still need to know your current address as long as you have an account with us, so keep us posted!
