Changing the Producer and Insurer

When working on a submission in Sembley, you may need to assign or update the insurer and producer contact person. This is quick and easy to do from the Producer & Insurer section of your intake. Follow the steps below to make those changes.

1. Navigate to the submission

First, open the submission you’d like to update. From the Sembley dashboard, click on the appropriate submission name (e.g., Crestview Construction & Trucking LLC).

Once inside the submission, you’ll see a left-hand navigation panel with all your intake sections.

2. Update the insurer

In the Producer & Insurer section:

• Use the dropdown to select an existing insurer from your list.

• Or click + Create Insurer to add a new one.

This allows you to designate which insurer this submission is being sent to.

3. Choose the producer contact and authorized representative

Below the insurer selection, you’ll see two dropdowns:

Producer Contact Person – Select the member of your team who will act as the primary contact for this submission.

Authorized Representative – Choose the team member who will be listed as the authorized signatory on the submission.

You can assign the same team member to both roles, or select different people.

With these steps, you’ve successfully updated the insurer and producer details for your submission.
