You can invite your clients to complete their submissions in Sembley via shareable link, email or secure portal. You can send them reminders at frequencies that fit your agency and you can monitor your client's activity to see whether they've received or opened the invitation.

Creating an Invitation

In order to create an invitation, navigate to any submission that you want to share and click on the "Share" button.

After that, you'll be prompted to select or create a contact that you want to share the submission with and how you want to share it.

Sharing via Shareable Link, Secure Portal or Email

After clicking the "Share" button and selecting a contact, you'll see three options for sharing your submission: Shareable Link, Secure Portal, Email

  • Shareable Link: This is a URL that you can send your client via text, email, chat or however you communicate with them.

  • Client Portal: This option will send your client a customizable email with a link to a password protected portal. Your client will be prompted to set a password, before accessing it, which they'll need to enter each time they want to work on their submission. Their portal will list all of the submissions that you've shared with them.

  • Email: This option will send your client a customizable email with a link to the submission's intake for them to fill out.

This is how the submission will look to your client when they open your Shareable Link or click on the link in your Email:

Invitation Reminders

When you share an invitation via Client Portal or Email, you'll have the option to send your client reminders at frequencies that you can specify.

Editing Reminders

You can turn on, turn off or edit the frequency of your reminders from the "Invitations" tab in your Submission.

Reminder Duration

Reminders can be sent every 3, 4, 5, 7 or 14 days. Reminders will automatically turn off under the following circumstances:

  • Your client submits their submission for review (even if it's not 100% complete)

  • You manually turn off the reminder via the Invitation tab in your submission

  • Reminders are automatically stopped two months after you start sending them. If you would like, you can manually restart reminders via the Invitation tab

Tracking Reminders

From the Invitations tab, you can also track the status of your invitations, including when they were created, how they were sent and when they were opened by your client.
