Sembley allows you to organize and track your submissions using customizable statuses. This article covers how to update statuses, filter by them, and create your own custom labels and colors.
Changing the Status of a Submission
Each submission in Sembley has a status indicator. To update the status:
Click the status label within any submission.
Choose a new status from the dropdown:
Initiated
In Progress
Complete
Or one of your custom statuses
Updating the status helps you and your team stay aligned on where each submission stands.
Filtering Submissions by Status
To show or hide submissions based on their status:
Open the filter menu from your submissions dashboard.
Select or deselect the statuses you want to see.
The dashboard will instantly reflect your changes.
Creating and Organizing Custom Statuses
You can define your own custom statuses to match your workflow.
To add a new status:
Click any existing status to open the status editor.
Click “Add Status”
Create any status in your agency's workflow
To reorder statuses:
Use drag and drop to arrange them in the order you want
To assign colors:
Click the color selector next to each status and choose a distinct color
