QQCatalyst Integration

Connect Sembley with your agency's QQCatalyst account

This article explains how to connect Sembley to QQCatalyst and how to import and export data between the two systems.

Data Sharing

Refer to our QQCatalyst Data Sharing Guide for a complete list of the record types and attributes that are synced between QQCatalyst and Sembley.

Connect QQCatalyst

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Integrations

  3. Click QQCatalyst

  4. Click Connect and complete authentication

Once connected, QQCatalyst will be available as a data source for imports and as a destination for exports.

Import insureds from QQCatalyst

  1. Go to Insureds

  2. Click Import

  3. Select Import from QQCatalyst

  4. Search for and select an insured

  5. Click Import

The following insured data is imported:

  • Name (individual or business)

  • Contact details (phone, email)

  • Mailing address

  • Marital status

  • Tax identification number (SSN or FEIN)

Import records from QQCatalyst

After importing an insured, you can import additional record types associated with that insured.

Open the insured and use the Import option within each section.

Vehicles (personal and commercial)

  1. Go to Vehicles

  2. Click Import → Import from QQCatalyst

  3. Select one or more vehicles

  4. Click Import

Imported fields include:

  • Year, make, model, VIN

  • Commercial-only fields such as GVW, cost new, radius, use, body type, and deductibles

Drivers (personal and commercial)

  1. Go to Drivers

  2. Click Import → Import from QQCatalyst

  3. Select one or more drivers

  4. Click Import

Imported fields include:

  • Name and date of birth

  • License number and state

  • Marital status and gender

  • SSN

  • Additional commercial driver fields such as hire date, years licensed, and experience

Premises (locations)

Supported premises types include:

  • General locations (e.g. commercial property, BOP, agriculture)

  • Homeowners locations

  • Farm premises

To import:

  1. Go to Premises

  2. Click Import → Import from QQCatalyst

  3. Select one or more locations

  4. Click Import

Imported fields include:

  • Address

  • Tax code

  • Building interest

  • Description of operations

Additional homeowners fields may include:

  • Year built

  • Square footage (living area, garage)

  • Number of rooms

  • Market value and purchase details

  • Fire protection details (distance to hydrant/station, protection class)

  • Roof type and heating source

Policies

  1. Go to Policies

  2. Click Import → Import from QQCatalyst

  3. Select one or more policies

  4. Click Import

Imported fields include:

  • Policy number

  • Effective and expiration dates

  • Total premium

  • Line of business

  • Carrier

Send insureds to QQCatalyst

  1. Go to Insureds

  2. Select an insured

  3. Click Send to QQCatalyst

  4. Review duplicate check results

  5. Click Send

Notes:

  • If an insured with the same name exists in QQCatalyst, it will be flagged before sending

  • Commercial insureds require a primary contact; if not present, fields may be sent as “Unknown”

Export records to QQCatalyst

Sembley supports exporting multiple record types in QQCatalyst-compatible formats. These exports are used with QQCatalyst’s import tools.

  1. Open the insured in Sembley

  2. Go to Policies / Vehicles / Drivers / Premises

  3. Click Download

Then in QQCatalyst:

  1. Open or create a policy

  2. Click Import List

  3. Upload the downloaded file

  4. Review and click Import

Import

  • Insureds

  • Vehicles (personal and commercial)

  • Drivers (personal and commercial)

  • Premises (general locations, homeowners, farm)

  • Policies

Export

  • Insureds (direct sync to QQCatalyst)

  • Vehicles (file export)

  • Drivers (file export)

  • Premises (file export)

  • Policies (file export)

Notes

  • Multiple records can be selected and imported at once

  • Imported data is available for use in Sembley forms, including ACORD forms and supplements

  • Duplicate detection is applied when sending insureds to QQCatalyst

  • Some sensitive fields (e.g. SSN) may be partially masked depending on QQCatalyst data availability
