When will I be required to Verify my ID?
You will be required to complete verification before you can make your first transfer. Once done, you will not need to do it again.
Completing your ID verification gives you access to Tier 2 transaction limits;
You can send up to 10,000 USD daily,
You can send up to 20,000 USD monthly,
You can send up to 100,000 USD per year,
You can perform a maximum of 5 transactions daily.
How can I begin the ID verification process?
Go to the profile page on your dashboard, select “Account Limits” and click the “Increase limit” button to begin.
Note:
If you are using a PC, you'll be required to scan the QR code displayed on your screen. Alternatively, you can enter your mobile number to receive a secure link via SMS to enable you complete the verification process via your smartphone.
If you are using the app or the web version on your smartphone, you will be redirected to our verification partner’s portal to complete your verification.
*We recommend completing your verification on a smartphone for a more seamless process.
What type of ID is accepted for verification in the United States?
The following means of ID are acceptable on Send App:
ID Card (Original),
Driver's License,
Passport,
Residence Permit.
How long will it take to verify my account?
Once you complete the verification process, your verification status will be returned to you via your registered email within 30 minutes. If your verification is still in review for more than 30 minutes, please chat with our support team via the chat messenger on your app dashboard to assist you.
What does my verification status mean?
Submit: You are yet to begin the verification process.
Verifying document / In review: The document(s) you submitted is currently being verified.
Verification successful: Your verification has been approved.
Declined: Your verification was declined.
What do I do if my verification is declined?
When your verification is declined, you may be allowed to resubmit your documents up to 3 times after which you will be required to contact support. Please ensure that you follow the instructions provided on your screen just before you verify your account to ensure that your verification is not declined.
What do I need to do to prevent delays during verification?
To ensure that your verification is not delayed, here are some checks to do just before you begin the verification process;
Prepare a valid government-issued means of identification (physical ID).
Take clear pictures of you and your ID. Ensure that the pictures are taken in a well illuminated environment.

Ensure that you do not use a laminated/photocopy/digital copy ID.
Place your valid ID on a surface distinct from the ID color. If the ID environment is of same color as the ID, it may not be accepted.
Ensure your ID is not rumpled or damaged.
