How to add Content to a Workspace

โœŽ NOTE: Content can only be added to a Workspace if it is both visual and geolocated. This content will then appear as layers in the Scene Manager. When adding content to a Workspace, it's not possible to select items that do not meet these requirements.

  1. Click on "Add Content" at the bottom of the Scene Manager:

  2. A window showing the Content page will open in your Workspace.

  3. Select items (layers or markups) to add to your Workspace using the checkboxes (see image below).

  4. You then have the option to add the new items as loose layers in the Scene Manager by selecting "Add", or as a group by selecting "Add as a group":

  5. If you choose to "Add as a group", you can name the new group in the Scene Manager as you go:

  6. Click the 'x' in the right-hand corner to close the Content window.

Adding+ removing layers synced from a CDE

When you add layers to a Workspace that are synced from a Common Data Environment (CDE), they stay synced with the source. Here's how updates and removals are handled:

Automatic updates

If a synced layer is updated in the CDE (e.g., a new version is available), those changes will automatically appear in all associated workspaces too. This happens the next time the CDE syncs with Sensat.

Adding new files

New files added to the CDE wonโ€™t automatically appear in your workspace. You'll need to add these manually.

Removing files

If a file is deleted from the CDE, it will be automatically removed from the Content page and any workspaces it's been added to. This happens the next time the CDE syncs with Sensat.

How to remove Content from a Workspace

  2. To remove multiple items, select the items you wish to remove in the Scene Manager. Click the three-dot menu that appears at the bottom of the panel, then select "Remove from workspace":
