Connect a Gateway to Sensgreen
Updated over a week ago

Sensgreen LoRaWAN Network Server (LNS) is a robust and reliable component of the Sensgreen Smart Building Platform that plays a crucial role in managing LoRaWAN-connected devices within your building. LoRaWAN is a low-power, wide-area networking (LPWAN) protocol designed for long-range communication between IoT devices and gateways.

Gateways act as a bridge between sensor devices and the LoRaWAN network, collecting, packaging, and forwarding sensor data to the network. This enables the collection of sensor data over a large geographic area, facilitating remote monitoring and control applications.

Configure the Gateway for Sensgreen LNS

Step 1: Access the Gateway Interface

These step depends on the gateway's brand and model but generally there are options to connect via Wi-Fi or LAN. The credentials required for this connection are usually included on the product box or in the product's user manual. If not, you can obtain this information by contacting the manufacturer.

Step 2: Add Sengreen Server Address

After connecting to the gateway interface, the required server address must be entered for the data to reach the Sensgreen LNS.

Type: Semtech
Server Address: lnserver.sensgreen.com

Port Up & Port Down: Both are the same and depends on Frequency Band of the location

  • EU868: 1700

  • AS923: 1701
