How to hide actions in your account

Updated over a month ago

To hide an action, open it and click the eye icon with a line through it.

You can choose to hide just this action or all actions of this type (by clicking on the down arrow next to the icon).

There are a couple of different reasons you may want to hide an action, for example:

1. This action has been completed correctly, but your site hasn't been crawled since the changes were made, so the action is still showing

2. You can't add all of the keywords into an action naturally. For example, if you're asked to add a few keywords to a meta description, it could be difficult to fit them all into the 150-recommended character limit. In this case, it could be beneficial to hide the action!

If you choose to hide an action, this will be replaced by another action with similar relevance and a similar amount of time this would take to complete.

Hiding an action will not affect the progress bar at the top of your action page.

How to see your hidden actions and unhide an action?

To see your hidden actions, click the three-line icon in the top right corner and choose ‘View Hidden’ from the dropdown. Look for the eye icon with a line through it.

From there, you can unhide any action you want.
