There may be times when the best course of action is to hide an action. In this article we’ll run you through why and how you may want to do this.
Why would you want to hide an action?
There are a few reasons you may want to hide an action in the platform. I've listed a couple of the main reasons below:
You've already completed an action, but the platform hasn’t yet picked up on the changes. We tend to find this is most common for local SEO actions.
You can't add all of the keywords into an action naturally. For example, if you're asked to add a few keywords into a meta description, it could be very difficult to fit them all into the 150 recommended character limit. In this case, it could be beneficial to hide the action!
How to hide an action?
To hide an action, open it and click the eye icon with a line through it.
How to see your hidden actions and unhide an action?
To see your hidden actions, click the three-line icon in the top right corner and choose ‘View Hidden’ from the dropdown. Look for the eye icon with a line through it.
From there, you can unhide any action you want.
