How to hide an action, and why you might want to
Updated over a year ago

There may be times when the best course of action is to hide an action. In this article we’ll run you through why and how you may want to do this.

Why would you want to hide an action?

There are a few reasons you may want to hide an action in the platform. I've listed a couple of the main reasons below:

  1. You've already completed an action, but the platform hasn’t yet picked up on the changes. We tend to find this is most common for local SEO actions.

  2. You can't add all of the keywords into an action naturally. For example, if you're asked to add a few keywords into a meta description, it could be very difficult to fit them all into the 150 recommended character limit. In this case, it could be beneficial to hide the action!

How to hide an action?

  • First, you'll need to click on the action itself.

  • A tab will then open.

  • In the bottom left corner of the tab, you’ll be able to see the option to ‘hide action’.

How to see your hidden actions and unhide an action?

To find your hidden actions, you simply need to click on the ‘hidden actions’ icon on the top right of your screen. The icon is an eye with a cross through it.

Once there, you’ll be able to unhide any action.
