Once you have changed an image's alt text on your site, it might be wise to check and see if this has been pulled through correctly.
One way of doing this is to complete the action on the platform, which will then tick off if this has been completed correctly.
However, if this does not tick off, you should ensure the alt text has pulled through correctly on your website.
To check this, go to the correct page on the website, right-click on the correct image, and then click Inspect. This will bring up the HTML code. You will want to see within the section highlighted the phrase 'alt=' and then the alt text added. An example of what this may look like is alt="Website Logo".
If, when inspecting, you do not see any alt text, or it has not been updated to the new one, then we know that it is not pulling through correctly, and then you can investigate this on your website builder.
Please bear in mind that in some cases, it can take a few minutes for the alt text to come through to the live version of your site, so if, after 30 minutes, this has still not pulled through, you will want to investigate this further.
