Your Income Source is a real checking account with its own routing and account number, so any payment processor or payroll platform that can pay out to a bank account can pay out to Sequence. The setup is always the same idea: point the platform's payout (or deposit) destination at your Income Source.
Find your Income Source details
You'll need two numbers, and sometimes a verification document:
Click into the Income Source on your Money Map and find the routing number and account number in the top right of the panel.
If the platform asks for proof of the account, generate a voided check (a filled-out direct-deposit PDF) and upload that.
Some platforms also let you connect your bank through Plaid instead of typing the numbers. Either works. If Plaid can't find your account, enter the routing and account numbers manually.
Stripe
Stripe pays out your balance to a bank account you nominate.
In your Stripe dashboard, open your payout / bank account settings.
Add a bank account and enter your Income Source routing and account numbers (or connect via Plaid if offered).
Set it as the account that receives your payouts. From then on, your Stripe balance lands in Sequence, where your rules can route it automatically.
Square
Square deposits your sales to a linked bank account.
In your Square dashboard, open your bank account settings.
Link a bank account using your Income Source routing and account numbers.
Once verified, your Square deposits arrive in your Income Source.
Gusto
Gusto is payroll rather than a payment processor, but it connects the same way, through a bank account.
Getting paid through Gusto: add your Income Source as your direct-deposit account in your Gusto profile, using the routing and account numbers (or a voided check for verification).
Running payroll from Sequence: add your Income Source (or the Pod you fund payroll from) as the company bank account in Gusto, so payroll is funded straight from Sequence.
Other processors
The same steps work for almost any platform that pays out to a bank, including PayPal, Shopify, Etsy, and others. Find the payout or bank-account setting, then add your Income Source routing and account numbers.
