How do I buy a Digital Pressing?
Buying a Digital Pressing is as easy as buying a t-shirt from your favourite band. Simply create a profile, enter your card details and click buy now on the latest release. Once the payment has been completed, it is on the way to your profile!
Alternatively, if your favourite artist has released a Digital Pressing as part of a deluxe physical-digital merchandise combo, you will need to purchase directly from either a) the artist’s website or b) their physical merch pop-up. Continue reading for details on how to claim it…
How does Serenade handle refunds?
Serenade is the intermediary between artists and fans, meaning that we cannot provide refunds for purchases that are beyond our control.
Claiming
If you’ve recently purchased a wristband, poster, mini album or other piece of physical merch that comes with a digital album, you may be wondering how to claim and enjoy all the extra content that comes with it.
Tap to Claim:
Either on the packaging or on the item itself, locate the ‘Tap to Claim’ icon. Once you’ve found it, tap your phone directly on it like you’re tapping a card reader. Generally your phone’s reader for this chip will be located at the top of the phone, but if that’s not working check your phone brand for where it is located.
Ensure NFC is Enabled on Your Device:
NFC reading will likely be an option on all modern smartphones. If you’re tapping your phone and nothing is happening then it’s possible that NFC reading is disabled on your device. Check to ensure that it has been enabled through the settings menu.
For Android: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > NFC and enable it.
For iPhones: NFC is automatically enabled, but certain apps might require you to enable NFC scanning in the Control Center.
Login & Claim:
You will be redirected to a claim page where you can swipe across to redeem your Digital Pressing.
If you’re not logged in or signed-up to a Serenade account you will be prompted to input a few small details, after which an account will be created for you that will store this exclusive digital album for the rest of time!
Accessing your Digital Pressing:
Once you have either purchased or claimed your Digital Pressing, it will be sitting there in your profile ready for all of the awesome content to be streamed or downloaded to your heart’s content! To find your profile, click on the icon in the top right and click on profile.
If your Pressing isn’t showing up immediately, wait for 10 minutes and it should appear in your profile. If it still hasn’t, contact Serenade via the chatbot in the bottom right corner of the website and a team member will attend to your issue
