Transferring off Serenade
In the same way that you can take your vinyl and play it on a friend’s record player, sell it at your local market or display it in public, NFTs associated with Digital Pressings purchased on Serenade can be moved around the web3 ecosystem.
Whether you’d like to store them somewhere safe offline, trade them on an external marketplace like Opensea, or even verify them as your Twitter Display Picture - Serenade gives you the freedom to do whatever you want with your new digital product.
Transferring your NFTs off-platform or to a separate digital wallet
If you’d like to resell your NFTs, you will need to first transfer them to a MetaMask or other web3-enabled wallet, before connecting this wallet to your secondary marketplace of choice.
To transfer approved NFTs, please follow these instructions;
Go to your profile page
Choose the NFT from your Gallery that you’d like to transfer off-platform by clicking on the product tile
On the same line of the artist name, you’ll see 3 grey dots enclosed on a grey square (top right of your screen)
Click the 3 dots and choose ‘Transfer’
Enter your public wallet address (which you can find in your Metamask or other browser extension - ENS not currently supported)
Click Continue
Click ‘Yes, Transfer’ and you’re done!
As simple as that!
Transferring onto Serenade
To access the full experience of your Serenade Digital Pressing, you will need to transfer the NFT into your Serenade gallery, using the public wallet address presented on your profile page and in your settings, which will unlock access to audio and bonus content. Once you have made the transfer, you can then download any rewards tied to the product.
Transferring your NFTs onto Serenade from an external marketplace (like OpenSea)
IMPORTANT: Do not transfer any NFT that isn’t a verified Serenade collectible as it will not be visible through your Serenade profile. This means that once transferred to your Serenade wallet, you will not be able to transfer it out until we have built the UI to display NFTs of diverse origins. If you have accidentally done this, please contact us through our help channel in the bottom right corner of your screen, on our Discord or at support@serenade.co
To access all the awesome features that Serenade offers alongside our Pressings, you will need to transfer your product to Serenade. We suggest doing this through OpenSea’s transfer mechanism (as it’s incredibly simple to use).
Please follow these instructions;
Go to opensea.io
Connect your wallet
Click the paper plane icon (there should be a pop-up asking you to put in your public wallet address)
On Serenade, navigate to your profile
Navigate to your profile to find your public key (it's visible under the Edit Profile button)
Click the copy button to the right of the hash
Return to OpenSea and paste your Serenade public key into the public address field
Click confirm
After a moment, your Serenade Collectible/Pressing should appear in your Serenade gallery, unlocking all the exciting features attached to it!
It’s important to note that while Serenade bears the cost of transferring your NFT off platform, you will have to pay to transfer it back on. Don’t worry though - the cost is equivalent to fractions of a cent, so just make sure you have some Matic coin or ‘Wrapped Ethereum’ and you’re good to go!
What is a seller’s premium?
As with an auction house, sellers on Serenade pay a ‘premium’ to sell their Digital Collectibles on the platform. On Serenade, a 20% seller’s premium is applied to all sales. This is our way of ensuring that artists receive ongoing income from the creation of any work they share on Serenade.
