Why are unlinked Forms being added to a Service Job?

Why are Forms (previously TCC's) being added to a Service Job when they are not the linked to an Equipment Type.

You can fix this issue by following these steps:

  • On the Form in the where used section - The Linked to Site takes priority, therefore every job on that site would get the TCC added.

Next Equipment Type and Service Types they are linked if used together.

If no Service Types are selected then “where used “won't factor in the equipment types that are selected. The Equipment Type and service type BOTH have to be picked for the system to select based on these things, if one of those two aren't being used, neither is the other.

In other words, if a Service Type is selected (e.g Preventive Maintenance) it would add the Form to the Equipment Type = Cleaning AND all the jobs that are equal to that Service Type ( i.e Preventive Maintenance) that was selected and not one or the other.

The best solution is to recreate a Service Sequence on equipment in the contract and give this a Service Type of “Preventive Maintenance - Cleaning “ as an example - remove the original Service SEQ.

Then you would be able to add the Form for this service which would therefore be all on the Equipment Types that are cleaning and the service type “PM - Cleaning
