Permissions

Changing and setting the permissions for each dashboard allows different users different rights.

  • Click the information ( i ) icon to view the properties of the dashboard.

  • The highlighted Dashboard is in blue.

  • Scroll down the right-hand screen until you find the permission section.

  • Click on Edit next to permissions.

You may want to restrict the usage to say “Top Management” or only allow certain Users, job roles, or groups to make changes on a dashboard.

Apply Minimum Needed Permission

The message "Apply Minimum Needed Permission" gives the selected role permission, on the document, to perform the action i.e. execute, full control etc.

  • Check this tick box to allow permissions to be set for the user/s selected.

Here you can select from the dropdown box who should have which permission for the dashboard report.

  • Click on the i to close the expanded window on the right.
