Enhancements (4):
Enhancements to the Self Service Dashboard
Several significant enhancements have been introduced to improve report generation and overall user experience of the Self Service Dashboards. The update includes advanced data visualisation options, allowing for more dynamic and interactive reports. Enhanced performance optimisations ensure faster data processing, making it easier to handle large datasets efficiently. Additionally, new customisation features have been added, enabling users to tailor reports to their specific needs with greater flexibility. For further details, click here.
Blocking Multiple Job Edits
This enhancement improves user experience by preventing the simultaneous raising or editing of multiple jobs across different tabs. By displaying clear messages that prompt users to finish or cancel their current job action before starting a new one, the system ensures that job actions are completed sequentially. This prevents potential conflicts and confusion, leading to a more streamlined and efficient workflow.
Updated Tool Tips for Travel and Labour Time Rounding
The tool tips for both travel and labour time rounding have been updated to provide clearer information.
Flexible Form Association Based on Service and Equipment Type
Introducing a new feature that enhances the flexibility of form association with jobs. This feature allows users to control how forms are linked to jobs based on service type and equipment type, providing greater customization and efficiency. A new toggle option, 'Include when both linked service type and equipment type are matched,' has been added to the system. This toggle enables users to specify whether a form should be associated with a job only when both the service type and equipment type match, or if it should be associated when either type matches.
How It Works:
Toggle Set to 'YES': Forms will be associated with jobs only if both the linked service type and equipment type match.
Toggle Set to 'NO': Forms will be associated with jobs if either the linked service type or equipment type matches.
Fixes (5):
Stock Selling Price Changing to 0 in Job Stock Issue Screen
When users selected stock in the Job Stock issue screen and then updated the branch or engineer, the stock selling price would change to 0. This fix ensures that the stock selling price remains accurate when updating branch or engineer details, preventing it from incorrectly changing to 0.
Expandable "Work To Be Carried Out" Field in Job Quotes
“Work To Be Carried Out" appears as though it should be expandable, but currently, but did not allow users to view lengthy texts. This issue has been addressed. The "Work To Be Carried Out" field is now expandable, allowing users to see all the entered information without any restrictions.
Incorrect Title When Editing Bin Number
When editing an existing bin number, the window title incorrectly displayed "Edit New Bin Number," even though it was not a new bin. This issue has now been fixed.
Duplicate Lines in Service Invoice Generation
Users encountered an issue where duplicate lines appeared for the same contract period on the service invoice generation screen. This caused confusion and inaccuracies in invoicing. This issue has been resolved. The system now ensures that service invoices are generated without duplicate lines for the same contract period.
Bin Numbers Not Displayed in Stock Movement
Bin numbers were not displayed in stock movement records when a manual stock receipt was processed without selecting a bin. This led to confusion and difficulty in tracking stock locations. This issue has been resolved. Now, if a bin is not selected during a manual stock receipt, the system will automatically use the depot bin for that stock record. This ensures that bin numbers are always shown correctly in stock movement records, including job issues, purchase orders, stock transfers, and stock take.
