Overview

The FGas module is an integrated component of Service Geeni designed to streamline and manage compliance with the Fluoridated Gases (FGas) Regulations.

This module helps organisations track, report, and maintain records related to FGas usage, leaks, and recovery, ensuring adherence to legal and environmental standards.

Once FGas is enabled, you will have access to the additional Forms.

Forms

Different gas transactions (aka Logs) are created in Service Geeni via the below forms.

Completing these forms in Service Geeni will result on the gas movements for the FGas systems and Cylinders. This is accomplished by leveraging the Write To Conditions capability of the custom fields on the form.

Go to Forms Enquiry these Forms will now be available:

  • Addition

  • Removal

  • Refill

  • Decant

  • Leak Test

  • Record A Leak

  • Dispose

Addition

This form is used to the add gas to the FGas System from a FGas Cylinder. So this will increase the Actual Charge of the FGas System and reduce the Actual Charge of the FGas Cylinder.

Removal

This form is used to the take the gas out of the FGas System using a FGas Cylinder. So, this will reduce the Actual Charge of the FGas System and increase the Actual Charge of the FGas Cylinder.

Refill

This form is used to add the gas to a FGas Cylinder from a Supplier. So this will increase the Actual Charge of the FGas Cylinder.

Decant

This form is used to take the gas from one FGas Cylinder to other one. So this will reduce the Actual Charge of the source FGas Cylinder and increase the Actual Charge of the destination FGas Cylinder.

Leak Test

This form is used to do the Leak Test for a FGas System. The User / Engineer has to mark a Pass or Fail on the form for this.

Record A Leak

When ever a leak is identified on the FGas System, a User / Engineer can use this form to record it. It will reduce the Actual Charge of the FGas System.

Dispose

Users or Engineers can use this form when disposing of a cylinder.

What are its components?

System

These are essentially like equipment but set as FGas systems. It will have key information such as:

  • Refrigerant Type

  • Design Charge (Kg)

  • Pre Charge (Kg)

  • Trim Charge (Kg)

  • Actual Charge (Kg)

Cylinder

These are essentially like tools but set as FGas cylinders. It will have key information like:

  • Cylinder Type

  • Refrigerant Type

  • Design Charge (Kg)

  • Initial Charge (Kg)

  • Actual Charge (Kg)

  • Class
