So, what is a Miscellaneous item?

Miscellaneous items are any ad hoc items that you don’t need to store in quantities, but you do need to purchase and sell them via Sales Orders or Jobs.

Common examples include services such as Subcontractor time, Expenses such as parking and toll road charges, and very small-value items that you may not want to stock, such as nuts, bolts, screws, and cable ties (often referred to as consumables)."

Getting There

Let's begin by heading to the Miscellaneous Items tab from the Stock menu.
