Let's get started and understand how it all works!
The Service Geeni Mobile app is used for engineers and employed on the go. Whether you are using the app on a PC, mobile or tablet device, the app will keep you connected on the go.
Installing Service Geeni Mobile App
IOS Device
On your mobile/tablet device open the Apple store.
Search “Service Geeni” and select it to install the app.
Android Device
On your mobile/tablet device open Google Play Store and Search “Service Geeni”
Find the" Service Geeni" application and download the software/application.
N.B The logo resembles the ‘I’ icon from Service Geeni.
Windows Device or PC
This software is compatible with Windows 10 and above, it is not compatible with older Windows versions.
Before we kick things off, you will need Google Chrome installed on your Windows computer.
Go to https://mobile.servicegeeni.com/mobile/ Click “Dependencies”.
Find the latest version of the software (will be at the top of the page) and click “Download” The software will begin to download.
Once complete, restart the computer before continuing.
Mobile / Tablet Device
Click “Service Geeni Mobile” Find the Auto Update option at the top of the page and select “Windows” or “Download”.
The software will begin to download. You may need to allow installs from unknown sources, follow your device's steps to allow this to happen.
You have successfully installed the Service Geeni Mobile App!
Register Your Device
Now you have installed the app, open it and you will be greeted with a registration screen asking for the three data fields below:
Password: Contact your project manager or the support team for this detail.
Engineer number: This will be available to your support team in the Service Geeni system via the Settings cog, Engineers.
Asset tag: If this has auto-populated with numbers, leave it. If it hasn’t, enter the engineer's full name without spaces.
Confirm Connection & Load Settings
To confirm that you have registered your device properly:
Click the “Who Am I” button and make sure that the system responds.
If it says “Failed to connect to server” or gives any other error message, your device has not registered properly.
If you pass the first step, click “Load Settings” and then wait while the system loads all of your latest information onto the device.
Once you see “Refresh Completed”, you are ready to go
Congratulations, you have successfully connected to the Service Geeni Mobile App!
