You must bring:

  • Primary ID β€” usually a state-certified birth certificate. For a complete list of acceptable primary identification documents, click here.

  • 2 valid Proofs of Oklahoma residency (Required if applying for REAL ID) β€” View the list of all acceptable residency documents

  • If your current last name is different from your identification documents, you will need documentation connecting your name on your primary and secondary IDs to your current name, such as a marriage license, divorce decree, adoption decree, etc. For more information, click here.

If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian with you.

If you have a valid Driver License from another state, you must surrender it before becoming eligible for an Oklahoma ID or Driver License.

You can only hold one credential from the state where you establish residency. You cannot have a driver's license from one state and a state ID from another, nor can you hold multiple driver's licenses from different states.
