If your license from another state is valid and unexpired, take the following to a Service Oklahoma location or a select Licensed Operator:

  • A primary and a secondary approved form of identification

  • Your current out-of-state license

Many SOK locations provide walk-in services. Click below to find a location near you.

You can learn more about out of state transfers by clicking here.

Note: If you possess an out-of-country license, you may be required to take written and driving tests. Even if your written and driving tests are waived, you will still be required to take a vision test.

A non-commercial out-of-state license that has expired within 6 months can be transferred without having to retest.
