Adding Line Items to Work Orders

Work order Line Items identify the discrete charges associated with the work order.

To add a Line Item to a work order,

  1. Locate the work order on the Work Order List page and navigate to the Work Order Details page

  2. On the Line Item card for the work order, tap on the Edit button.

  3. Select the line item Type from the list.

  4. Select the line item Name from the list.

  5. Select the Qty or enter a numeric value.

  6. The Price for the line item will be automatically populated.

  7. Tap on the Save option at the top right of the card.

Note: As line items are added, the card will present a blank line item that may be used to identify additional line items.

Note: You can remove a line item by tapping on the Trashcan icon associated with the line item when you are in Edit mode.
