Overview:

The Existing Warranty Info page provides a summary report of warranties from the service's database. The warranties displayed in the summary report are based on the parameters entered on the Warranty search page.

The Info page uses Seven fields in every warranty to differentiate between individual warranty reports.

The info page also serves as the jumping point to open individual warranty reports.

Locating the Warranty Info page:

To open the Warranty info page, click Claims from the main menu, then click Warranty info in the Claims menu options. When the search page opens, enter the desired search terms and click search. (See the 'Warranty Search Page' section on the 'Claims - Warranty' page for more information.). Once the search button has been hit, HUB will open the Existing Warranty Info Page to display the search results.

Understanding the Warranty Info Page:

Filtering Results:

The search results will appear under the 'Existing Warranty Info' section on the 'Warranty Info' page. They are default organized in ascending order alphanumerically (1-10 & A-Z) by customer last name.

The results view can be reversed to display warranty information in ascending order (1-10 & Z-A) by customer last name.

Reading Search Results:

The Existing Warranty Info page is read like a chart with columns and rows.

Each row represents the information on individual warranties.

Seven fields found in every warranty are used as identifiers. These identifiers help to differentiate individual warranties for easier identification. They can be located on the first row of the chart, with each header forming a new column

a new column.

These fields help to differentiate between individual warranty reports.

Seven Identifying fields

The seven fields used to identify individual warranties can be broken into two groups.

The First group is comprised of the first five headers. These headers describe the customer who holds the Warranty.

The Identifiers are:

  1. Last Name

  2. First Name

  3. City

  4. State

  5. Zip Code.

The Last names are written in green lettering to indicate they are a clickable link. Clicking on the last name will open the detailed warranty information page for the row selected.

The Second group is comprised of the last three headers. These describe the product whose warranty is being searched for.

The Fields are

  1. Model

  2. Serial Number

  3. Purchase Date
