Time Bands

This section defines the periods in which appointments can be booked for service. Rules can be applied to the entire day or periods of the day. It should be noted that these rules will follow the designated hours of operation.

  1. Column One: Day periods

    The first column denotes the period of the day and designated hours during which a booking can be scheduled. Example: For Mornings (8:00 to 12:00) would mean every morning of regular business operating hours, a booking can be set for 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.

  2. Column Two: Assign No Later Than

    This column defines the rule applied to the selected time band using the final two columns. The rule states that new bookings cannot be scheduled any later than the hour indicated in the last two columns for the selected time band. Example: For morning bookings from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, all requests must be made before pm from a select day. The select day is defined in the Cut off sub-option.

  3. Column Three: Hour Selection

    This column is to select the hour in which service requests must be made for the select time band

4.Column Four: AM/PM

This column specifies whether the specific hour selected in column three is for the mornings or afternoons.


How To Edit Time Bands:

  1. Think of a rule that needs to be created

    Rule Example: For appointments during the mornings of operation hours, all booking requests must be in by 1:00 pm the previous day.)


  2. Using the above as an example, click on the day period labeled 'morning (8:00-12:00)' from the first column.


  3. In the third column on the same row as the day period, click the drop-down list and click 1:00.


  4. Finally, in the fourth column of the same row, click the drop-down list and click pm.


  5. Once the required rules have been built, click the blue 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.
