With the introduction of Sesimi’s new Versioning System, managing asset updates is now more seamless than ever. This feature allows users to upload multiple files to an asset and easily switch between them, enhancing both flexibility and control over your digital assets.

Key Features:

  1. Upload New Versions: You can now upload a new file to an existing asset and switch between different versions as needed.

  2. Version Switching: Manage your assets by toggling between various file versions in the new version picker.

  3. Unlimited Versions: There’s no limit to the number of versions you can upload, giving you full control over asset updates and history.

How It Works:

  1. Select the Asset: Navigate to the Assets page and choose the asset you wish to update or manage.

  2. Open the Version Picker: Click the version menu to reveal the list of all available file versions of the asset.

  3. Add a New Version: Press the Add New Version (+) button. This will open the Cloudinary Upload Widget, where you can select a file to upload as the new version.

  4. Upload the New File: Once the upload is complete, the preview will automatically update, and the newly uploaded version will be set as the active version.

Prerequisites:

  • You must have Editor-level access to upload or manage asset versions.

By utilising this new Versioning System, you can ensure your assets are always up to date and accessible with just a few clicks, making asset management faster and more efficient.
