In Sesimi, user roles determine access to platform settings and tools, but do not affect asset permissions. Two permission types: Admin and Member offer different levels of functionality:
Admin Role: Full Access and Control
Admins have comprehensive access to Sesimi’s settings, enabling them to manage critical aspects of the platform for brand control and team coordination. With Admin permissions, users can:
Set up and modify Categories for asset organisation.
Add, edit, or manage Teams to streamline asset sharing and permissions.
Manage Users, ensuring team members have the correct roles and permissions.
Configure Datablocks and account-level data fields.
Access Account Settings, which include schema information and detailed configuration options.
Note: Admin permissions do not determine asset permissions. Assets can be shared or restricted independently by any user, based on access levels set at the time of sharing.
Member Role: Limited Access to Asset Library and Templates
Members make up the majority of users in Sesimi and have access to essential content creation tools without broader platform control. Member permissions include:
Access to the Asset Library, where they can browse and use assets shared with them.
Use of the Template Builder to create branded content by selecting and customising templates.
Members can also modify personal settings, such as their profile avatar, language, and time zone—keeping their profiles up-to-date without impacting broader account settings.
Asset Permissions
Regardless of role, users can independently set access levels for assets they upload or create, determining who can view, edit, or share each asset.
