When you upload an asset to Sesimi, it’s private by default, visible only to you. But sharing it with other users or teams can boost collaboration and ensure brand consistency across your projects. And as the creator, you’re in control - choose who gets access and what they can do with each asset. Here’s how to easily share your assets in Sesimi.

Sharing a Single Asset

  1. Select Your Asset: Start by opening the asset you want to share.

  2. Go to the Access Tab: In the asset window, click the Access tab.

  3. Choose Who to Share With: Pick an existing user or team from your Sesimi platform.

  4. Set Permission Levels: Use the drop-down menu to set their access level. (For details on different permission levels, check out this guide).

  5. Optional: Set a Time Limit: Want to share access temporarily? Select Scheduled in the permissions menu and add a date range. Click Submit Date when you’re ready.

  6. Confirm and Notify: Once you’re satisfied with the settings, click Share. The user or team will receive an email notification with a direct link to the asset.

📖 Note: If the user is logged into Sesimi when you share the asset, they’ll need to log out and back in to see the new asset.

Sharing Multiple Assets

  1. Start with Multi-Select: At the top of your Asset Library, click Multi-select.

  2. Select Your Assets: To pick specific assets, check the box in each asset’s top right corner. Want to share everything on the current page? Just click Select All.

  3. Edit Access: With your selections made, click Edit next to the Multi-select button to open the edit form for all chosen assets.

  4. Adjust Share Settings: Head to the Access tab and follow the steps outlined for sharing a single asset.

With just a few clicks, you’re all set to share assets securely and make sure the right people have what they need. Happy sharing!
