Become an expert at adding to the tray and you’ll be a Sesimi power user in no time!

Building content in Sesimi is fun and easy… and the tray makes it even easier to build multiple versions super fast.

Here’s how to add and control multiple items in the tray:

  1. When you’ve finished building a version of your content from a template, select Add to tray.

  2. You will now see your newly created content loaded in the tray. Now you can go back and make as many versions as you like - different sizes, different images, different text – it’s up to you! Every time you make a new version that you’re happy with, you then select Add to tray and that new version will sit alongside your previously created version in the tray.

If you click on these versions in the tray, you can toggle back and forward to preview what each piece of content looks like (handy if you want to check what versions you’ve made so far)

  3. As soon as you’ve made multiple versions of content, the Add to tray button gets extra functionality. By clicking on the arrow next to Add to tray you will now see the option to Clear tray which discards all the versions you’ve made.

  4. You also have the opportunity here to Export tray which downloads a record of your tray items to your computer for safekeeping. This is handy if you want to save the various combinations you’ve done so you can go back to it later.

  5. And if you wish to go back to these combinations later, you then select Import tray and you will be asked to locate the record you previously exported to your computer. Once you do, all the different versions of content you made will appear again in your tray!

Note: You can also send another user the record of your tray items and if they wish, they can then select Import tray, locate the record you sent them and they will then see all the different versions of content you made in their tray!

  6. The Download button also gets extra functionality! First of all you’re able to directly download the ‘active’ piece of content you’re currently working on. Select Download active (1) and this version of the content will be downloaded to your computer.

  7. By clicking on the arrow next to Download active (1) you can select either:
Save active to assets (1) – this saves the version of the content directly to your Asset Library.

  8. Download tray (3) – this downloads both versions of content you’ve saved to your tray to your computer.

Note: if you’ve created say, four pieces of content, the option will be Download tray (4)

  9. Save tray to assets (3) – this saves both versions of content you’ve saved to your tray directly to your Asset library.
