Sesimi now offers a seamless way to post your image assets directly to your Facebook or Instagram business accounts or embed them on your website. This feature streamlines the process, allowing you to share your content straight from the Sesimi platform without needing to download the images first.
How It Works
Locate and Open Your Image Asset
Navigate to the image asset you wish to use.
Click on the image to open it. It will open on the Asset Export tab.
Access the Export Options
In the bottom right corner of the Asset Export tab, you'll find a Download button with a small arrow next to it.
Click on the arrow to reveal the options: Post to Facebook, Post to Instagram, or Copy Embed Code.
Connect Your Social Media Account (First-Time Setup)
If this is your first time using the social media posting feature, you'll need to connect your Facebook or Instagram account.
Follow the on-screen authentication instructions to connect your account(s). Depending on your security settings, you may need to complete additional verification steps.
If you manage multiple business accounts, you'll be asked to select which one you'd like to connect.
Compose Your Post
After connecting your account, you’ll be returned to Sesimi. Here, you can enter a message to accompany your image post.
Share Your Image
To Post on Social Media: Once you’ve composed your message, click the Share button. Your image will be posted directly to your chosen business page.
Embed Your Image
To Embed on Your Website: If you select Copy Embed Code, the HTML code for an <img /> tag will be copied to your clipboard. You can then paste this code into your website's HTML where you want the image to appear.
Why Use HTML Embed Code?
Using the HTML embed code option allows you to display your image asset on any web page or blog without needing to upload the image separately to your website. This is especially useful if you want to:
Quickly Add Images to Your Website: Simply copy and paste the code into your website's HTML editor, and the image will appear instantly.
Maintain Image Quality: The image is served directly from Sesimi, ensuring optimal quality without any compression that might occur during multiple uploads and downloads.
Centralise Image Management: If you ever need to update the image, you can do so in Sesimi without needing to change the embed code on your website, making maintenance easier.
Important Notes
Image-Only Posts: Currently, the social media posting feature supports image posts only. Video posting is not available at this stage.
Efficiency & Convenience: By posting directly from Sesimi or embedding images using HTML, you can share your newly created assets immediately after finalising them in one of our templates. Plus, all your assets remain securely stored in Sesimi’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ready to be used whenever you’re ready.
