This article guides you to purchase and give a Sezame gift card to someone close to you.

Before you start

At Sezame, there are two types of gift cards: the gift card with a recommended experience (via "Give as a gift") and the open-value gift card (via this page). Both are valid on all experiences on the website.

How can I give a gift card to someone?

  1. Go to the experience page and click "Give as a gift", or purchase an open-value card from the gift card page.

  2. Fill in the "To" and "From" fields as well as your personalised message.

  3. Log in or continue as a guest.

  4. Enter the recipient's contact details if you want them to receive the gift card immediately, or your own contact details if you prefer to send it when you choose (recommended).

  5. Proceed to payment.

Is it possible to personalise the message?

Yes, a step during purchase allows you to write a personalised message.

Will the recipient see the gift card amount?

On the printable version you can give, the price is not visible. However when using it the recipient always sees the gift card amount. Our cards are valid on all experiences on the website. Knowing the amount allows the recipient to freely choose a different experience from the one suggested and use their card in multiple instalments if needed.

How will I receive my gift card?

After purchase, you immediately receive a confirmation email with your gift card. This email contains two formats: a digital version to forward by email or message, and a printable version to give in paper format.

Will the recipient see the gift card in their account?

No, the person receiving the card will not see it in their account. Accounts only show bookings, not received gift cards. To use it, the recipient checks the email you sent them and enters the code when booking.
