What is the SFX Stability Index?
The SFX Stability Index (SSI) is a proprietary performance indicator that measures the balance and stability of your trading profits over time.
It ensures your results reflect skill, precision, and control — the same qualities professional proprietary desks and hedge funds look for in their top performers.
It’s calculated using a straightforward formula:
NOTE: On your trading dashboard, this metric will appear under the label “Consistency."
Why does SFX use the Stability Index?
Stability and consistency are the foundation of every professional trader’s success. The SFX Stability Index (SSI) was developed after an in-depth analysis of over 10,000 trading accounts and over 2 million live trades across all programs.
Our findings were clear — traders who manage risk effectively and distribute their profits more evenly have dramatically higher longevity, profitability, and payout reliability.
Here’s what the data revealed:
71% of traders with a low SSI (within program limits) achieved sustainable profitability for at least three consecutive months — compared to only 29% of traders with high SSI scores.
Consistent traders recorded 61% fewer violations and 48% smaller average drawdowns, allowing them to remain in profit-eligible status far longer.
Low-SSI traders received 64% larger cumulative payouts on average within their first 90 days of funding.
Traders maintaining a stable SSI were 4.3× more likely to qualify for scaling benefits and long-term funding upgrades.
Most notably, traders with balanced profit distribution were over 3× more likely to receive multiple payouts within their first 60 days than those who relied on one or two large trading days.
Traders who improved their SSI over time had a 71% higher probability of retaining their funded account after multiple payout cycles.
The purpose of the SFX Stability Index (SSI) is to help traders build consistent, sustainable profitability that unlocks more payouts, faster scaling, and lasting funding opportunities.
SFX Stability Index — Payout Eligibility Guidelines
To qualify for a payout, your SFX Stability Index (SSI) must be at or below the thresholds listed below for your account type:
Account Type | SSI Requirement For Payout |
1-Step Rapid Funded | ≤ 25% |
2-Step Ascend Funded | ≤ 20% |
Instant Funding | ≤ 15% |
If your current Stability Index Score is higher than the listed threshold, that means your profits are too concentrated.
You’ll need to continue trading as normal until your performance evens out — as your results balance, your Stability Score will automatically decrease, and your payout eligibility will be unlocked.
Example:
$15,000 1-Step Rapid
Profit Distribution:
Day 1: $632 Profit
Day 2: $588 Profit
Day 3: $601 Profit
Day 4: $570 Profit
Day 5: $615 Profit
Day 6: $695 Profit (Biggest Winning Day)
Day 7: $594 Profit
Step 1: Calculate Total Profit
Add all profit days (including any loss days, if applicable):
$632 + $588 + $601 + $570 + $615 + $695 + $594 = $4,295
Step 2: Apply the Formula
SSI = ($695 / $4,295) × 100% = 16.18%
✅ Since 16.18% is below 20%, you'll meet the SSI requirement.
