What Is A Trading Day?
A valid trading day is any day where the profit made is at least 0.75% of the initial account balance.
Account Violations (Hard Breach)
Violation of these rules results in immediate account closure.
1. Daily Loss Limit — 2%
The maximum daily loss is the largest amount you can lose in a single trading day. It's calculated from the higher value between your account's starting balance and starting equity at the start of each trading day.
The Maximum Daily Loss resets every day at UTC +0.
Example.
For a $40,000 account:
Account Balance: $40,000
Account Equity: $41,000 (Higher)
2% of $41,000 = $820
$41,000 − $820 = $40,180
📌 Your equity must stay above $40,180 for that day.
2. Maximum Overall Loss — 5% (Trailing)
The maximum overall loss is 5% of your highest recorded account value, making it a trailing drawdown. This means your protection level increases as your account grows, and it always remains 5% below your highest value achieved.
How is it calculated?
The limit is calculated based on your highest account value. When your account value increases, the limit automatically moves up to match the new high, staying exactly 5% below your peak value.
If your account value later decreases, the limit remains fixed — it never drops once set.
Example.
For an $80,000 account:
If your account value reaches $84,000, your maximum overall loss level becomes $79,800 (5% below your highest value).
If your account value later falls to $82,000, your limit remains at $79,800, since it's always based on the highest value achieved.
📌 Your drawdown limit follows your highest account value and remains 5% below that peak at all times.
3. Maximum Floating Loss — 1%
SFX Protect enforces strict risk management and prevents excessive losses on open trades. This rule operates on a two-strike system:
First Breach: If your floating profit and loss (PnL) drops below -1% of your account balance at any moment, your profit split will be reduced to 40% for the current payout period. Your account remains active.
Second Breach: If your floating PnL drops below -1% of your account balance a second time, the account will be permanently closed.
This rule is based on floating losses, meaning it applies to open trades before they are closed.
Example.
For a $50,000 account:
1% of account balance = $500
If the floating loss on your open trades reaches -$500 (-1%), your profit split drops to 40% (first breach).
If it happens again after that, the account will be immediately closed (second breach).
