An Expert Advisor is allowed as long as it is a trade or risk manager. Using any other third-party Expert Advisor is not allowed. The use of prohibited Expert Advisors (EAs) will result in denial of progression to the next phase of evaluation or payout, a permanent account breach, and a ban from our platform and services.

You are welcome to use any genuine EA that you have personally developed.

At SFX Funded, we recognise the crucial role that Expert Advisors (EAs) play in automating and enhancing trading strategies. We are committed to supporting your trading experience by allowing the use of EAs across all our accounts in every phase of your trading journey. However, utilising third-party EAs available on the open market is against our copy trading rules.

There are some select few self-developed EAs that are not allowed as they are exploiting certain market conditions. Those are listed below.

Market Rollover Scalping EA's

Using Expert Advisors (EAs) to scalp during the rollover period to exploit price feeds is prohibited. This tactic manipulates market conditions and takes unfair advantage of temporary price discrepancies, compromising the integrity of our trading environment.

News Scalping EA's

Using Expert Advisors (EAs), designed to exploit price fluctuations during major news releases or significant economic events by using rapid scalping techniques, are prohibited.

These EAs capitalize on the extreme short-term volatility that occurs during such events. This approach is highly unpredictable and often results in significant slippage due to the limited liquidity available at these times.

EAs Without Source Code Ownership

It is strictly prohibited to use EAs for which you do not own the source code. This policy is in place to maintain transparency and accountability in trading activities. Without owning the source code, verifying the EA's integrity and reliability is challenging, potentially leading to abuse and exploitation of our systems and programs. Traders using EAs must provide a copy of the source code to SFX Funded for verification purposes.
