Accessing inactivity details
You can access the workspace inactivity details from the following tabs:
Overview: Find the inactive groups key point and click See details.
Data quality: Click the Inactive groups data point.
Inactivity overview
The Workspace with inactivity page displays inactive workspaces that have been inactive for 180 days or more.
Inactivity is monitored for the following workspaces:
Microsoft 365 groups
Microsoft Teams
SharePoint sites
OneDrive for Business

About inactive groups displays:
The percentage of workspaces that have been inactive for six months or more.
The potential risks of having inactive workspaces.
Suggested actions you can take to mitigate the potential risks of having inactive workspaces.
Inactivity report
The workspace inactivity report displays:
The total number of inactive workspaces.
The Last activity date of each inactive workspace, with the oldest inactivity date at the top by default.
The workspace Name.
The number of workspace Owners.
The number of workspace Members.
The Content size.
Click Filter by workspace type to view data specific to one of the available workspaces.
Click Export to save the report as a CSV file. The CSV file includes the same columns, sorting, and search results as the on-screen report.
