How to use AI Search
Go to your investment portfolio and select AI Search.
Confirm you’ve read the terms and conditions (you only have to do this once).
Enter a term or phrase that interests you and select the search icon.
AI Search will produce key insights to do with your search and group a list of relevant investments available on Sharesies.
You can add an investment to your Watchlist by selecting the star symbol. Or, select an investment to learn more about it.
To search for something else, select the search bar at the top of the page.
How AI Search works
When you enter a search term, AI Search uses its advanced algorithms to scan publicly available financial data and generate a result. The result includes a summary of industry insights related to your search and context for the investments it returns.
If you don’t get the results you expect, try rewording your search entry—you may get something different.
Reliability of results
AI Search is designed to provide you with factual information. It has access to extensive data and analysis, and is updated regularly with new data and algorithm improvements.
While the results aim to be accurate, any information returned should be independently verified before relying on it for investment actions.
Limitations of AI Search
AI Search does not give financial advice and results are not an opinion or recommendation to invest. Results are generated on the spot and no human has considered their accuracy or relevancy.
Like all AI models, AI Search may ‘hallucinate’ (present false or misleading information as fact), misunderstand nuance, or present out-of-date information, so it’s important to do your own due diligence before deciding to invest.
How your data is used
AI Search only receives what information you tell it when entering a search query. Your personal information is never exposed or sold to third parties.
