If you still have money in the Spend account you're closing, you’ll need to transfer the remaining balance into your Wallet or another Spend account before it can be closed.
To close a Spend account:
login to Sharesies
Home > select the Spend account you want to close > Manage > Close Spend account
review and confirm.
Once closed, the Spend account and any cards attached to it will no longer be active or available in the app. If you have more than one Spend account, your other Spend accounts won’t be affected.
By closing a Spend account, you also opt out of the Investback reward for that account. Any pending Investback earnings on that Spend account at the time of closure will be forfeited. You’ll still be able to see and track any past investments you earned through Investback in your Portfolio.
