Here are three tips on how to grab an organization's attention with your cover letter.
Each proposal gives you the opportunity to write a cover letter. This section of the proposal should be used to tell the organization why you are qualified and excited to work on their project.

Here are three tips to help you get started:

  1. Don't assume that organizations will look at your profile. If you have experience that is relevant to this project, mention it in your cover letter. If you have worked with organizations similar to the one you are applying to, you can mention that as well.

  2. Be professional, but don't be afraid to let your personality shine through. If you are excited about the project, tell them! If you really enjoy the work they’re offering, say it. Organizations want to work with people who are passionate about the work they are doing.

  3. Briefly explain how you would approach the project. Use the information given in the project description to write a sentence or two about how you would get started and what you would deliver. If you need more information, tell the organization how you would gather that information. When you tell organizations what to expect, it shows them that you know what you’re doing.

Remember that organizations will choose the Creative who they believe is the best fit for their project. Knock ‘em dead, tiger!
