ShareWell’s Friends feature let’s you stay connected with peers you meet during groups and continue supporting each other on your growth journeys. The Friends feature allows you to send friend requests to other members. When a friend request is mutually accepted, you’ll be able to direct message each other within ShareWell.

Here are some helpful things to know:

  1. Members can send 10 friend requests a day

  2. If you choose to not accept a friend request, the other member will not be notified, so only accept people you want to have individual communication with

  3. You can add anybody (other than the ShareWell team) as friends. To do so, click on their profile, and click the blue "Add Friend" button on the right side

  4. Once they accept your friend request, you can see them by clicking on the "Friends" tab in the main menu

  5. Here you can see your approved friends, recommended friends to add, and pending requests that have been sent to you

  6. For friends you have approved, you can click the Message button, or click on the Chat tab in the main menu and then DMs

  7. Here you can chat with your friends directly, please keep in mind that ShareWell ground rules still apply and that chats will be monitored by ShareWell staff

  8. If you want to unfriend a member at any point, you can do so by going to the Friends tab, clicking the 3 dots next to the member, and clicking "Unfriend," this member will not be notified that you have unfriended them
